GREENHOUSES OPEN

Hey! We are open and ready for business! But it sure is cold out there! Yesterday May 10 we had several inches of Snow, but it was a warm snow. 26 degees out this morning, too cold for tomatoes yet! The bare root barn is well stocked with fruit and ornamental trees and shrubs. GLAD PLANTING is fast approaching. We still have a great supply, thanks for all the orders, only a few left to be sent out, but we're working on it, I'll try to finish up orders on hand this week. WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING ORDERS FOR GLADS, ask, we might be able to send your favorite bedding plant or bare root out to you! Happy Mothers Day , Lew, Tammy, & Marcus

2008 Underway

Greetings, We are excited about our new offerings and are busy working on the new catalog. We have had great reports from those that have grown our glads in the past year. If you can't wait for the updated list, you can order from our 2007 list. Gladly Lew

Full Steam Ahead

3-27-07 Wow, does time go fast. We are starting our third week of transplanting! House #1 and #2 are almost full and we opened house #3 yesterday. The plants are growing great. Really KOOL things (also weird) have been ordered! A NOTE TO YOU "KIDS" out there, we will have Venus Fly Traps again. No they will not make an impact in the fly population, but are a real crowd pleaser. Also a strange form of pouch plant,( also eats flys, & crickets, BEWARE PETS AND SMALL CHILDREN) (just kidding) or NOT. DON'T MISS the new slide show in our photo gallery. Really kool! We used this as a supplement to our presentation at the Michigan Gladiolus Conference! Our topic: Gladiolus Exoticus Designing : NO HOLDS BARRED. What a great time, we went with our friends Burt & Carla, Scripture, and Don and Dave Selinger. Dave was also a presenter and put on a great show. Hybridizing: As Easy as you make it! I learned lots. WE got a new puppy, some had puppys, some got hats , some NOT. If you would like hats we can make you a good deal. One of the hottest Items taking the glad world by storm is the new variety, 198 INDESTRUCTIBLE , Honker Flats 07, The corms are as hard as a rock! Ed was one of the first to get, he really fancys glads that last. We have photos of him smiling. Steve B. in Wisconsin is also starting a good collection of them. I suspose thats enough trouble for one day, Lew
