[ JM 18-287] (Green Fairy x Peggy Roseby)

ALL AMERICA SELECT WINNER 2024

I just love the sight of this stately glad. Grandma Barb is a lovely light green with a white base, and a slight lavender feather in the throat. It was named Queen of the Show at the Honker Flats Glad Festival for John Meyer. Even 3 days after being placed on the Court of Honor, every floret was still fresh with no yellowing of the color. It took until the 5th day on the show bench in the heat of the greenhouse for the first floret to show some loss of condition, remarkable. Plants display excellent health and vigor. This seedling was the highest scoring entry in the All America Select glad trials and my favorite.

Florets are 4 ¼ inch, round, heavily ruffled, and heavy substance.

Placed formally on 30 inch flowerheads. 26 total buds, holding 10 open and 5 in color.

55 inch field height, with good medium stems and foliage.

Large=$8 each *(Individual Large are not available)
